Privacy Policy

BACKGROUND:

Co-oproduct is privately owned by Co-oproduct CIC. This Policy applies as between you, the User of this Website and Co-oproduct the owner and provider of this Website.  This Policy applies to Our use of any and all Information collected by Us in relation to Your use of the Website and any Services therein.

 

1. Definitions and Interpretation

In this Policy the following terms shall have the following meanings:

"Us/We/Our" means – Co-oproduct CIC including where the context so allows, its shareholders, employees, affiliates, associated and contracted persons, companies or suppliers and whose registered address is Suite 17769, Lower Ground Floor, 145-157 St John Street, London, EC1V 4PW and whose Company No. is 06716075.

“You/Your” means the User or Member, as indicated by the relevant clause and where not expressly indicated is applicable to both.

"User(s)" means – person/persons, companies or other organisations using the Website who are not Members and are not employed by Co-oproduct and acting in the course of their employment;

"E-mail(s)" means - electronic mail received or sent by Us, created and sent by one of Our Members, or automatically created and sent on Our behalf.

"Service(s)" means - the ideas sharing facilities, newsletters, forums, purchase facilities, communications tools (including web-based email, message boards and email links), information and advertising services provided to Members.

"Member(s)" means – any person, persons, company, or companies that register with Us to receive or use the Services on the Website.

"Website" means - the website that You are currently using (www.co-oproduct.org), including; its web space, pages, and the contents and graphics contained in such space or pages, including any Information and Advertisements, and any sub-domains of this site unless expressly excluded by their own terms and conditions.

"Information" means - any information submitted or made available to this Website in relation to the use of the Website and the Services it offers including information submitted during any registration process, the uploading of MIY Instructions, the purchase of Readymade Co-oproducts, the placing of an Advertisement and any other communication processes arising as a result of the use of the Services or the Website.

“Cookie” means a small text file placed on Your computer by Co-oproduct when You visit certain parts of this Website.  This allows Us to identify recurring visitors and to analyse their browsing habits within the Website.  Where e-commerce facilities are provided, Cookies may be used to store Your information.  Further details are contained in Clause 10 and Schedule 1 of this Policy;

“Membership Account” means collectively the personal information and credentials used by Members to access the Services on the Website;

2.12 a list of URLS starting with a referring site, Your activity on this Website, and the site You exit to (automatically collected); and

3. Our Use of Information

Any Information collected will be retained by Co-oproduct and is privately owned by Co-oproduct.

3.1 Any personal Information You submit will be retained by Us for as long as You use the Services provided on the Website. Information collected may be retained for a period of up to 6 months from when You cease to use the Website and/or the Services.

3.2 Subject to any authorisations You give in accordance with Our Terms and Conditions, unless We have Your express permission or We are obliged or permitted by law to do so, and subject to Clause 4, Your Information will not be disclosed to third parties.  This does not include Our affiliates and / or other companies within Our group. You are deemed to have automatically given Your permission to disclose Information when You upload MIY Instructions and when You place any of Your Information on any public parts of the Website.

3.3 All personal Information is stored securely in accordance with the principles of the Information Protection Act 1998.  For more details on security, see clause 9 below.

3.4 Any or all of the above Information may be required by Us from time to time in order to provide You with the best possible service and experience when using Our Website.  Specifically, Information may be used by Us for the following reasons:

3.4.2 improvement of Our products / services;

3.4.3 transmission by email of promotional materials that may be of interest to You;

Co-oproduct may, from time to time, employ the services of other parties for dealing with matters that may include, but are not limited to, payment handling, delivery of purchased items, search engine facilities, advertising and marketing.  The providers of such services will have access to certain personal Information provided by Users of this Website.

 

5. Changes of Business Ownership and Control

5.1 Co-oproduct may, from time to time, expand or reduce its business and this may involve the sale of certain divisions or the transfer of control of certain divisions to other parties.  Information provided by Users will, where it is relevant to any division so transferred, be transferred along with that division and the new owner or newly controlling party will, under the terms of this Policy, be permitted to use the Information for the purposes for which it was supplied by You.

5.2 In the event that any Information submitted by Users will be transferred in such a manner, You will be contacted in advance and informed of the changes.  In the event You are contacted You will be given the choice to have Your Information deleted or withheld from the new owner or controller.

8.1 You may access Your Membership Account at any time to view or amend the Information.  You may need to modify or update Your Information if Your circumstances change.  Additional information as to Your marketing preferences may also be stored and You may change this at any time.

8.2 You have the right to ask for a copy of Your personal Information on payment of a small fee.

9.1 Information security is of great importance to Co-oproduct and to protect Your Information We have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure Information collected online.

Co-oproduct reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy as We may deem necessary from time to time or as may be required by law.  Any changes will be immediately posted on the Website and You are deemed to have accepted the terms of the Policy on Your first use of the Website following the alterations.
