We offer ReUse and Make-it-Yourself (MIY) talks, workshops and lectures to Schools, Colleges, Universities, Commercial Institutions and Conferences. One of the main aims of Co-oproduct is to change people's perception of, and attitude towards, Household Packaging and Everyday Waste Materials. The focus of all our events, whatever the level, is to demonstrate how packaging waste can be seen as an Opportunity rather than an inconvenience. We present a number of New Desirable Objects which have been carefully crafted out of common waste items and illustrate how the potential for Packaging ReUse is limitless and yet, until now, relatively under-explored.

Schools & Colleges

We can come into your school or college and deliver a talk to your pupils/students (usually during Assembly for schools) on the subject of ReUse or MIY, using real examples from our database. This is a fun and informative talk, usually involving images of the process as well as real examples of the finished ReUse Products. The talk can last anywhere from half an hour onwards, but we would discuss this with you prior to confirming the booking.

In addition, we also carry out half day or full day ReUse and MIY workshops with pupils/students in groups/classes, where we demonstrate and facilitate the making of one or more ReUse Products. This is extremely interactive and great fun for everyone, particularly the pupils. We start with a range of common Household Packaging and Everyday Waste Materials and guide you all through the process of how to Make-It-Yourself, resulting in a completed ReUse Product of your choice, which you can take home with you at the end of the day.
