(IMPORTANT) Any nylon fishnet tights would need to be sprayed with fire-retardant coating.

Take the tights and cut off both legs.
Spray tights with fire-retardant coating.
Take one hanging basket and stretch one of the tight legs over, leaving 20cm of leg at the top with the foot.

On the base pull strands over the hooks and repeat on the 3 sides to create this pattern.

Pull the foot end of the tights up and cut 5cm off the end.

Turn the basket over, and pull the foot end of the tights through. Attach the ends to the hooks too.

Repeat the previous step on the second basket.

Cable tie both baskets together to create a ball. Make sure you cable tie through the hooks too, to make it extra secure.

Sew material into a tube as opposite. Sew onto the top of the basket leaving about 1cm as a rim. Do the same on the other side so the tube runs straight through the middle of the ball.

Cut off the top of the lamp shade, making sure it is the side with the light fixing.

Attach the fixing with cable ties inside one of the holes in the ball, as above.

To neaten up the material edges, simply cut as close to the rim as possible, making sure you don
