Handy Man

Skill Level

A BA (Hons) Product Design student at NTU, UK

A light decoration made of ReUse materials! Could be molded into any shapes as you like.
The ‘Handy Man’ is mainly composed with reuse plastic cases, which you can get easily from food packaging. For example, fruit cases, milk bottles, seafood cases. You can be as creative as you can with the shape of light shade you want. All you have to do is to collect plastic cases and shape them in an oven! When the little light shade is ready, attach them onto Christmas lighting, mood lights or even make it as a hanging decoration!

Really cute and simple idea. The design is very effective and would look great in a child's room as a night light etc. Would be good to experiment with different shapes.

Very clever way of using the cake templates for something else! The men remind me of snowmen producing a strong christmas theme, which could be utilised in shops and stores for this time of year.
